Reasons we may deny a
charge:
- A free
e-mail address (Yahoo, Gmail, etc) and an open proxy –
Automatic
Decline!
- If the CVV2 code (the Card ID on the back) is
not entered or does not match.
- If the address and/or Zip code provided does
not match that of the credit card.
- If the IP the address you connect from does
not match the geographical location of the credit card
zip code (Using a proxy will trip this one every time).
Why are we doing
this?:
This is
strictly an
anti-fraud measure.
Recently, we have begun to experience a LOT of FRAUDULENT transactions via stolen credit cards and in EVERY
single case, a
free/disposable or non ISP issued e-mail address and an open proxy
was used. Our bank charges us a fee ($29)
for EVERY stolen card that slips past our verification process in
addition to charging back the original purchase amount! These
costs are not only becoming excessive, they are putting our merchant
account (our ability to process credit cards) at risk
therefore, we have become very strict with our verification
process.
We realize
that 99% of the people that sign up for our service are honest, it’s
the 1% trying to scam us using a stolen credit card we are
determined to stop. Remember, we do NOT archive the
information you use on the form, we simply use it to process the
charge, notify you, then purge it. You will not end up on
some spam list or receive additional mailings from us.
If you
provided a free disposable email address and masked your real IP
address on the signup form you
should send us an
email from
your ISP ISSUED EMAIL ACCOUNT to complete the order process.
