1). We do not maintain a membership roster therefore we do not share or sell information on anyone for any reason.
2). Using Internet Billing Company to process our credit card transactions prevents us from receiving personal data on members who sign up. We do not receive the credit card number or any personal information you provide IBill when filling out the form to sign up. In the event you lose your user id & password, if you provide us with the e-mail address you gave IBill when you signed up, we can retrieve the lost access information and provide it to you at no charge.
3). We do not log our website or remailer.
4). There is no affiliation to a member by their user id & password as access information is generated by an outside source.
5). Members are shown how to access our site as well as any other site under anonymity.
6). Due to many cards being declined by IBill for no obvious reason, we recently (12/21/98) secured our own merchant account. This allows us to process our own credit card transactions. Our own server can be reached by hitting "The ALTERNATE sign up server" on the previous page. Our bank requires us to use AVS (address verification system) because we never see the physical credit card. All AVS requires is the zip code and first 5 digits of the street address. We do NOT maintain any information you provide. When you fill out the form, the info is saved as a .dat file which the card processing software uses. Once the transaction is run, the software then creates a user id & password and mails it to the e-mail address provided on the form. The dat file is then purged.
